Fresh Sheet is a Typographic Cookbook designed using only type, ligatures and symbols. Creating a hierarchy through the use of different typefaces and weights was very important for the design of this cookbook. This helped create a very elegant and simplistic feel for the entire book.
Nike Sustainability Report
This Nike Sustainability Report was designed with Claire Roskey and Max Funk. We wanted to create a visual representation of what energy would look like and use that as the main focus in creating this report.
Next Step is a campaign that was designed to prepare the homeless with finding jobs after they graduate from their rehab programs. I also wanted to create a platform where busy professionals and students can volunteer whenever they prefer, rather than having to try organize their personal life, work life as well as volunteering.
Popular Science Digital Publication
Digital publication for Popular Science magazine was designed with many interactive options to keep the reader interested in the content of the magazine. I added slide out boxes with hidden content and videos to help understand the stories that were covered on the magazine. By tapping on any image, the text disappears and allows the reader to enjoy the beautiful photography of this magazine.
My goal for this digital publication is to create more engagement among the readers for the interesting content of the Popular Science magazine.
Kiyanna is an app designed for parents to connect with speech & language pathologists. Parents can use this app to read with their children and to record their child's voice. These recordings can then be shared with local pathologists to help detect any speech abnormalities at a young age.
In my research I interviewed teachers and speech & language pathologists to understand the challenges facing speech therapy in children. I also conducted surveys with parents to get an understanding of their knowledge about speech impediments.
This research helped me create a design that is both intriguing for children and easy to use for parents and speech pathologists.
This 4 page feature article was designed for a living magazine. The photography and art direction for this project was done with my colleague Hyo Jin Yee. We wanted to create a comfortable, homey feel, yet appear elegant and fun.
